Pilot training
We provide pilot training in cooperation with our sister company Heli Czech s.r.o.
We offer basic, advanced and skill improvement including emergency routines and instrument flight procedures
Our instructors are one of the most experienced pilots with military and commercial backgrounds.
Basic training is conducted on very common and well known helicopters R22 or R44 famous for their simplicity and reliability.
These helicopters are tested and used all around the world. They provide maximum safety in air and on ground. Mainly thanks to the high placed main rotor which doesn’t jeopardize people on the ground and gives great possibilities to shift balance on parallel axis which practically means they can handle difference in weight on seats. Controls are simple, easy to handle and practical. During the flight all controls are responsive without a delay or unnecessary resistance including rudder pedals which control tail rotor; the most simple and effective means to counteract torque effect created by main rotor. That means it is ideal for flying in extreme conditions because it doesn’t drain power, that is needed for safe flight, from main rotor.
1) How to start with helicopters
First step is to get PPL H – private pilot licence, which allows use of a helicopter for non-commercial use.
If You are starting from the very beginning you must fly minimum of 45 flight hours and 1,5 hour with examiner during the final exam. 10% of your previous flight hours can be included, but only up to a maximum of 6 flight hours.
Ground training
100 hours of theory includes lectures and home assignments to prepare you perfectly for the exams. Flying lessons and ground training take place at the same time for deeper understanding. It also means you will save time and money.
Course includes preparation for these test subjects:
- Air law
- Meteorology
- Operational Procedures
- Aircraft General Knowledge
- Navigation
- Principles of Flight
- Flight Performance and Planning
- Human Performance and Limitations
- Communications
You will take your final exam after Civil Aviation Authority exam and flight exam.
If you are interested please contact us for more information.
